About Kedleston Hall - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Sitting north of Derby in the Derbyshire countryside, Kedleston Hall features a Visitor Reception, shops, food kiosk, restaurant, picnic area, House, Stables exhibit, garden, and parkland with hike/trail routes.

There is car parking on the estate, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near the second-hand bookshop.

The Visitor Reception, Stableyard food kiosk, and Stables exhibit all have step-free level access into and throughout. The parkland offers step-free level access into it and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the property have steep ramps/slopes and some uneven surfaces, so an accessible shuttle is available during weekdays to take visitors between the Visitor Reception and the Hall. Manual wheelchairs and trampers are available to borrow from the Visitor Reception, and sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
