    About Killerton - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Located north of Exeter, in the Devonshire countryside, Killerton features a Visitor Reception, shops, café, coffee shop, picnic areas, House, Chapel, gardens, parkland, play areas, and trail routes.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the car park, next to the House, and along the Garden Trail.

The Gift and Plant Shop, Kitchen Café, and garden offer step-free level access into them and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the estate have ramps/slopes and uneven cobble, gravel, and natural surfaces, so an on-call shuttle is available at main visitor points. Manual wheelchairs, a tramper, canes, and walking poles can also be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
