About Kingston Lacy - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Sitting in the Dorset countryside, Kingston Lacy features a Visitor Reception, shops, cafés, picnic area, House, gardens, play area, and parkland with hike/trail routes.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders near to the Visitor Reception.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the gift shop, and in the Kitchen Garden.

The Kitchen Garden Café Kiosk, and the Stables café, with picnic area, all have step-free level access into and throughout the areas. The House offers step-free level access into it and through some ground floor areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some main routes around the property have slight ramps/slopes and gravel and natural surfaces, so manual wheelchairs, a mountain trike, and mobility scooters can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
