    About Knightshayes - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Sitting north of Tiverton, Knighthayes features a Visitor Reception, café, picnic area, shops, House, gardens, parkland, and woodland with hike/trail routes.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found next to the Stables Café and the House.

The Visitor Reception, Stables Café picnic area, and gift shop have step-free level access into and throughout. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some routes around the estate have ramps/slopes and cobble and gravel surfaces, so an accessible shuttle is available to transport visitors to some main areas. A manual wheelchair can also be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking this in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
