    About Lacock - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Sitting in the Wiltshire countryside within a village setting, Lacock features a Visitor Reception, shops, café, tea room, picnic area, museum, Abbey, Brewhouse, Bakehouse, gardens, and Botanic Garden.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The site offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found next to the Stables Café, and near the tea toom.

The Brewhouse, Botanic Garden, and gardens have step-free level access into and throughout. The Courtyard Tea Room offers step-free level access in the outside seating area. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some routes around the site and village have ramps/slopes and gravel surfaces, so manual wheelchairs, mountain trikes, and mobility scooters can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
