  • The width of the opening is 82cm.

Stairs (Hall to First Floor)

  • The highest step is 22cm high.
  • This is a spiral staircase and will be narrower in some areas.
  • Lighting levels are moderate to good.
  • The handrails for this staircase do not cover the full length of the stairs.
    There is an alternative set of stairs (signed as Staff Only) that are less steep that can also be used for access to the first floor. These are located at the rear of Visitor Reception.

Entrance (Access to the Garden from the Guildhall)

  • The entrance surveyed is located at the rear of the Visitor Reception.
  • There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance.
  • The slight portable ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • The ramp overcomes the step.
  • Please contact any staff member for use of the portable ramp.
  • There is 1 step, which is clearly marked, with no handrails.
  • The step is not at the recommended height (between 15cm - 18cm).
  • There are double manual doors which open away from you.
  • The width of the opening is 125cm.
  • There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance with a height of more than 1.5cm.

Standard Toilet
