    Accessibility Overview

Sitting on the edge of the Peak District, Lyme features a café, refreshment kiosk, picnic area, shops, House, garden, and play area.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders near to the Timber Yard.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the Timber Yard Café, to the left from the House Courtyard, and in the garden.

The Hall Shop, Timber Yard Shop, Timber Yard Café and picnic area have step-free level access into and throughout. The House, garden, and play area offer step-free level access through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some main routes around the property have ramps/slopes and gravel, cobbled and uneven surfaces, so an accessible shuttle is available to take visitors to the Timber Yard and House. A manual wheelchair and tramper can also be borrowed. To do so, please contact the venue in advance to book and arrange collection.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
