About Lytes Cary Manor - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Sitting in the Somerset countryside, Lytes Cary Manor features a Visitor Reception, tearoom, picnic areas, second-hand bookshop, Manor, Chapel, gardens, estate, and play area.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders next to the Visitor Reception.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the tearoom.

The tearoom, picnic areas, second-hand bookshop, front garden, estate, and play area all have step-free level access into and throughout. The main garden offers step-free level access into it and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some routes around the property have uneven surfaces, so manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
