About Melford Hall - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Melford Hall sits in the Suffolk countryside and features a mansion, tearoom, second-hand bookshop, Banqueting House and formal gardens.

There is car parking on site, with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders and a drop-off point next to the mansion entrance.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the mansion.

The bookshop has step-free level access into, and throughout it. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes on site are uneven in places, with grass and gravel surfaces, so mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from the welcome gazebo in the car park. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
