    Accessibility Overview

    Sitting on the northern coastline of County Londonderry, Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demesne features estate and coastal hike/trail routes with historic buildings, walled garden, and coffee bar. 

    There are multiple car parks available, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders in the Lion’s Gate. 

    The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the Walled Garden.  

    Al’s Coffee Bar has step-free level access into and throughout. Mussenden Temple offers step-free level access by way of a stair climber for use during events. The Walled Garden offers step-free level access into it and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

    Some main routes around the property have steep ramps/slopes and uneven natural surfaces. Mobility equipment/scooters are not available to borrow or hire.

    Livestock do graze in all areas so please be alert to this and put dogs on leads at all times.
