    About Nymans - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Nymans sits within the Sussex Weald and features a Visitor Reception, picnic areas, cafés, shops, House, gardens, play area, and woodlands with hike/trail routes.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders near to the Visitor Reception.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the Visitor Reception, and next to each of the cafés. A Changing Places Facility is also available near to the Welcome Café.

The Visitor Reception, Riding House Café, the Welcome Café picnic area, shops, Rose Garden, and Walled Garden all have step-free level access into and throughout. The Riding House Café picnic area offers step-free level access into it and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the property have ramps/slopes and gravel surfaces, so manual wheelchairs and mountain trikes can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance. A shuttle is available to provide a tour through the gardens and back to Visitor Reception.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
