Accessibility Overview
Sitting on the Norfolk coastline, and accessed via a National Trust ferry, Orford Ness National Nature Reserve features a Visitor Reception, Information Building, second-hand bookshop, Radar Receiver Building with exhibit space, and nature reserve hike/trail routes. Ferry tickets are limited and need to be booked in advance.
There is parking available in the Riverside public car park.
The reserve offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found just off the Red Route.
Access onto the ferry is via steps only. Access into buildings on the reserve is via ramps/slopes or steps. Main routes around the reserve are step-free and level.
Manual wheelchairs and trampers can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.
