    About Penrose - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Encircling a freshwater lake next to the Cornish coastline, Penrose features a café, picnic area, walled garden, and hike/trail routes across woodland, parkland, and open countryside.

There are multiple car parks across the estate, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders located in the Penrose Hill and Degibna car parks.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found next to the café at Penrose Hill.

The café counter area offers step-free level access into and throughout. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the estate have uneven natural surfaces and some very steep ramps/slopes. Mobility equipment/scooters are not available to borrow or hire.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
