About Plas Newydd House and Garden - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Sitting on the island of Ynys Môn (Anglesey) Plas Newydd House and Garden features a Visitor Reception, picnic areas, café, food kiosk, shops, House, terrace, gardens, play area, and grounds with woodland.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders. There is also a drop-off point next to the House.

The site offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found next to the Visitor Reception, and outside the House.

The Sun Room Kiosk, The Old Dairy Café, the play area with picnic area, and Visitor Reception with Old Dairy Giftshop, all have step-free level access into and throughout. The Terrace offers step-free level access into it and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some main routes around the property have ramps/slopes and gravel surfaces, so an accessible shuttle is available at certain times to take visitors to some areas, and manual wheelchairs can be borrowed. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.
