Admissions

Public Transport
- There is a bus stop within approximately 150m of the site.
- Prior Park Gardens bus stop is just outside the gates to the site. The driveway gates are approximately 23 metres from the Visitor Reception.
- The nearest train station is Bath Spa.
- Bath Spa Station is approximately 1.7 mile from Prior Park.

Parking (Blue Badge Parking Only)
- This site has a car park.
- This is an open air car park with a gravel and compacted gravel surface.
- Parking is free for Blue Badge holders only.
- Maps and information boards are not available.
- Obstacles from the car park include: uneven surfaces, slopes/ramps and a lack of pedestrian walkways to cross the car park.
- There are not parent and child parking bays available.
- There is a designated drop-off point with a dropped kerb which does not have tactile paving.
- The Blue Badge parking spaces are not marked and have no hatched zones.
There are only two Blue Badge parking spaces, so please call or email ahead to book a space if needed.

Equipment and Resources to Borrow
- Equipment cannot be borrowed or hired.
- Powered mobility vehicles cannot be borrowed or hired.
Visitor Reception
- Access into the area is via a slight ramp/slope.
- The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
- There is step-free level access around the area.
- The majority of aisle widths are under 150cm.
- There is no room for wheelchair users to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm) within the majority of the area.
- The flooring is not smooth and even.
- Where the flooring is not smooth or even, this is due to gravel.
- There is step-free level access to the counter.
- The height of the counter is 99cm.
- There is not a low level section at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- The counter has windows, TVs, glazed screens or mirrors which could adversely affect the ability of someone to lip read.
- The counter has a clearly signed hearing assistance system.
- The hearing assistance system was tested and working at the time of the survey.
- There are chairs with armrests available in the visitor reception.

Toilet with Adaptations (Visitor Reception - Ambulant - Right Hand Transfer)
- This toilet is located to the right of the Visitor Reception down a steep slope, then to the right. The toilets are then on the right.
- Access into the toilet is via a steep ramp/slope.
- The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide, with handrails on both sides.
- This toilet is approximately 30m from the Visitor Reception.
- There is pictorial signage on or near the door.
- The door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
- The width of the toilet door opening is 88cm.
- The door has a twist lock.
- Internally the door has a high colour contrast.
- The dimensions of the cubicle are 149cm x 192cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
- There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the seat but it is obstructed.
- The lateral transfer space is 62cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
