About Rufford Old Hall - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Rufford Old Hall sits in the Lancashire countryside and features a Visitor Centre, tearoom, picnic areas, second-hand bookshop, House, garden, and woodland with hike/trail routes.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders near to the Visitor Centre.

The site offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the Courtyard.

The tearoom picnic area has step-free level access into and throughout. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some main routes around the property have ramps/slopes and uneven cobble, gravel and natural surfaces, so manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
