    About Saltram - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Saltram sits on the outskirts of Plymouth and features a Welcome Centre, shops, tearoom, café, picnic areas, House, parkland and gardens.

There is car parking at the estate, with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders near the Welcome Centre.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the car park, near the Welcome Centre, in the Chapel Tea Room, and in the Park Café.

The gift shop, Chapel Tea Room picnic area, and second-hand bookshop have step-free level access into and throughout them. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the estate include steep and very steep ramps/slopes, and uneven surfaces, so manual wheelchairs and an off-road/all-terrain mobility scooter can be borrowed from the Welcome Centre. National Trust recommends booking these in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
