About Scotney Castle - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Set amidst a 780-acre estate in Kent, Scotney Castle features a Visitor Reception, picnic areas, tea room, shops, House, castle, gardens, play area, and grounds with hike/trail routes.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the car park picnic area, and near to the tea room.

The shops, and tea room with picnic area, have step-free level access into and throughout. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the property have ramps/slopes, so manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
