    About Sizergh - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Sitting on the edge of the Lake District, Sizergh features a Visitor Reception, café, shop, House, garden, and estate with hike/trail routes.

There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The site offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found next to the café, and next to the house.

The garden offers step-free level access into it, and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some routes around the property have ramps/slopes and gravel surfaces, so a manual wheelchair and an off-road/all-terrain mobility scooter can be borrowed. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance, and the Mobility scooter is available to hire via the Lake District Mobility website.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
