About Smallhythe Place - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Located in the Kent countryside, Smallhythe Place features a Visitor Reception, House, garden, picnic areas, tearoom, and Barn Theatre.

Standard on-street parking and a public car park are available nearby. Visitors can also be dropped off directly in front of the house if required.

The venue offers standard toilet facilities, which can be found next to the tearoom.

The picnic areas have step-free level access into and throughout. The garden offers step-free level access into and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the property have ramps/slopes and uneven, cobble, and gravel surfaces, so a manual wheelchair can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking this in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
