About Speke Hall - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Speke Hall sits on the banks of the River Mersey, and features a Visitor Reception, second-hand bookshop, tea room, restaurant, picnic areas, Hall, play areas, maze, woodland, gardens, and coastal path.

There is car parking on the estate, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the restaurant, and near to the Hall.

The tea room picnic area, courtyard picnic area, orchard, and South Lawn, all have step-free level access into and throughout. The Maze and Woodland Trail offer step-free level access into them and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the property have ramps/slopes and uneven natural, cobble and gravel surfaces, so an accessible shuttle is available, and manual wheelchairs and mobility scooters can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
