About Studland Bay - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Studland Bay sits along the Dorset coastline and features a Visitor Reception, café, picnic area, shop, beaches, and hikes and trails.

There is car parking available at Knoll Beach, Middle Beach, and Shell Bay, with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders in Knoll Beach car park.

The site offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found opposite the shop and café at Knoll Beach, and within the car parks at Middle Beach and Shell Bay. A changing places facility is also available opposite the shop and café at Knoll Beach.

The Visitor Reception, Woodland Walk, and picnic area at Knoll Beach all have step-free level access into and throughout them. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

A number of routes around the area have uneven and natural surfaces, so running buggies, manual wheelchairs, and trampers can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
