    Accessibility Overview

Sitting on the western coastline of the Isle of Wight, The Needles Old Battery and New Battery features a Visitor Reception, tearoom, picnic area, and historic military buildings.

There is car parking on site for Blue Badge holders only.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the main courtyard of the Old Battery.

The Cartridge Store has step-free level access into and throughout. The picnic area offers step-free level access into it and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Routes around the site have ramps/slopes and uneven surfaces, so a manual wheelchair can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.
