At the time of survey (November 2023) only the ground floor of the house was in use.

You can borrow or hire the following equipment: manual wheelchairs. It is highly recommended that these are booked in advance, where this is possible. Please check the National Trust website for details.

Powered mobility vehicles cannot be borrowed or hired.

From the visitor reception in the car park, follow the marked and signed pathway to the tea room, which is on the right-hand side.
Continue past the tea room and the house is ahead on the right.
The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
Path surfaces along the route are compact earth, gravel and muddy.
The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.
Due to ongoing ground works at the time of survey (November 2023), the shuttle was not operating between the house and the car park. It is recommended to contact the property in advance to make an alternative arrangement.
