The Workhouse and Infirmary sits in the Nottinghamshire countryside and features a Visitor Centre, second-hand bookshop, a quiet room, Workhouse and Infirmary buildings with café, and gardens.
There is car parking available, with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders near to the Visitor Centre,
The venue offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the Visitor Centre.
The gardens have step-free level access into and throughout. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.
Some routes on site are uneven in places, with paving/tiles, loose chippings and grass surfaces, so manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Visitor Centre. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.
