Route to (Home Farm)

  • The entrance to Home Farm is to the far right of the Visitor Reception.
    Turn left after the last workshop through an open set to gates.
    Go through an open entrance to the right of the café.
    You will then enter Home Farm.
  • The route to the area is step-free level.
  • Path surfaces along the route are gravel and cobbles.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is no accessible shuttle to this area.

Outdoor Spaces

  • This information is for the access point located ahead as you exit Tredegar House.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is open access at the surveyed access point.
  • The following outdoor facilities are available: an open courtyard with toilets and accessible access to the below stairs floor of Tredegar House.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: cobbled and block paving.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor space.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • There are not any bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.

Toilet with Adaptations (Ambulant - Right Hand Transfer)

  • This toilet is located opposite the exit of Tredegar House.
  • Access into the toilet is via a steep ramp/slope.
  • The slope is over 150cm wide, with no handrails.
  • This toilet is approximately 22m from the Tredegar House exit.
  • There is pictorial signage on or near the door.
  • The door is manual, opens outwards and has a high colour contrast with the surrounding walls.
  • The width of the toilet door opening is 78cm.
  • The door has a twist lock.
  • The dimensions of the cubicle are 157cm x 170cm and it does not have a 150cm x 150cm turning space.
  • There is a lateral transfer space to the right of the seat but it is obstructed.
  • The lateral transfer space is 98cm from the side of the toilet pan to the wall.
  • There is a spatula flush on the transfer side.
