Accessibility Overview
Set in the Buckinghamshire countryside, Waddesdon features a Welcome Pavilion, Visitor Centre, shops, cafés, restaurant, House, Powerhouse, Aviary, formal gardens, play area, and grounds with hike/trail routes.
There is car parking on site, with designated bays for Blue Badge holders near to the Welcome Pavilion.
The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found near to the Welcome Pavilion, in the House, and in the courtyard of the Stables. A Changing Places Facility is also available in the House.
The Welcome Pavilion, Visitor Centre, The Coffee Bar, Stables Café, Stables Takeaway, Courtyard seating area, Aviary, have step-free level access into and throughout them. The Manor Shop and gardens offer step-free level access into them and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.
Some routes around the property have ramps/slopes and cover some distance, so an accessible shuttle is available, and manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Welcome Pavilion, the North Fountain shuttle drop-off, and the Manor House. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.
