About Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

Situated north-east of Cambridge, Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve features a Visitor Centre, Learning Centre, café, picnic area, Fen Cottage, and a National Nature Reserve hide and boat dock.

There is car parking on site, with designated parking bays for Blue Badge holders.

The reserve offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found in the car park and Learning Centre.

The Visitor Centre, Learning Centre, picnic area and café all have step-free level access into and throughout them. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

A number of routes around the area have uneven and natural surfaces, so manual wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Visitor Centre. The National Trust recommends booking these in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
