Route to (Parterre and Pleasure Grounds)

  • The Parterre and Pleasure Grounds are located at the rear of the site.
    There is a path leading from Hardwicke Gate to the Stable Courtyard and then a path which leads from there past the Old Rectory to the access point.
  • The route to the area is step-free via a slight ramp/slope.
  • Path surfaces along the route are bonded gravel.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is an accessible shuttle which can take visitors to this area.

Outdoor Spaces (Pleasure Grounds)

  • This information is for the access point located along the path leading from the Stable Yard.
  • There is step-free level access into the area.
  • There is open access at the surveyed access point.
  • The outdoor spaces include the following surfaces: wood bark and bonded gravel.
  • Footpaths are available in all of the outdoor spaces.
  • The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
  • There is step-free level access around the area.
  • There are bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
