About Woolsthorpe Manor - National Trust

    Accessibility Overview

The childhood home of Sir Isaac Newton, Woolsthorpe Manor features a Visitor Reception, coffee shop, picnic area, Science Centre exhibit, House, and garden with Newton’s famous apple tree.

There is car parking on site, with a designated bay for Blue Badge holders.

The estate offers toilet facilities with adaptations for disabled people, which can be found opposite the coffee shop.

The coffee shop ground floor offers step-free level access routes. The Science Centre and garden offer step-free level access into them and through some areas. Other points of interest are accessed via ramps/slopes or steps.

Some main routes around the site have steep or very steep ramps/slopes and uneven surfaces, so a manual wheelchair can be borrowed from the Visitor Reception. Sensory packs are also available. The National Trust recommends booking these items in advance.

Please view our Detailed Access Guides below to find out further details, including measurements and photographs.
