Getting Here

  • Church Lane is located approximately 5 miles north west of Coventry City Centre. Take the M6 and exit at the junction 3 heading south on Jimmy Hill Way/A444. Take the third exit at the roundabout onto Hen Lane. Continue along Hen Lane/Roland Avenue and turn left onto Parkville Highway. At the traffic lights turn right onto Penny Park Lane. Continue along Penny Park Lane and turn left onto Bennetts Road and then right onto Sandpits Lane. At the T junction turn right onto Tamworth Road/B4098 and continue for approximately 1.6 miles. At the parish church turn left onto Church Lane and the play area will be on the left hand side.
  • There are two marked Blue Badge bays on Church Lane. There is unmarked on street parking available on Church Lane.
  • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the venue.
  • The nearest bus stop is The Glebe located on Church Lane. This stop is serviced by the number 735 bus with links to Coventry City Centre, Old Arley and Ansley.

  • The nearest Railway Station is Coventry Railway Station.
  • The nearest railway station is Coventry which is approximately 5 miles away. The station is operated by West Midlands Railway and has regular links to Birmingham and Nuneaton. From the railway station there are numerous buses from Stop WR5 on Warwick Road to Pool Meadow Bus Station. From there take the number 735 bus to Church Lane.

    • The access point is accessible from Church Lane via a 110cm wide path as shown in photograph 4.
    • It can also be accessed via a path leading from The Glebe via a 68cm (narrowest point) undulated path as shown in photograph 5 and 6.

    • Footpaths are available in some of the outdoor space.

    • There are some bench seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
    • There is a route around the play equipment which is not firm and even, but is over 150cm wide.
    • The play equipment is in easy reach for seated and standing users, and users of different heights.
