Getting Here

  • Abbey Green is located approximately 12 miles north east of Birmingham. Exit the A5 at the Holly Lane roundabout and take Holly Lane/B4116. At the next roundabout take the second exit onto Old Holly Lane. At the T junction with Sheepy Road turn left onto Sheepy Road. At the crossroads turn left onto the B5000. Continue along the B5000 for approximately 3.5 miles and turn right onto Abbey Green Court. The play area will be on the left hand side.
  • There is a public car park (Grendon Road Car Park) with 2 Blue Badge bays and standard bay parking. There is also unmarked, unrestricted parking available on Abbey Green Court.
  • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the venue.
  • The nearest bus stop is Gulf Garage located on Grendon Road. This stop is serviced by the number 65, 748 and 785 buses with links with to Atherstone, Tamworth Town Centre and Nuneaton.

  • The nearest Railway Station is Tamworth Railway Station.
  • The nearest railway station is Tamworth which is approximately 4 miles away. The station is operated by West Midlands Railway and has regular links to Birmingham and Nuneaton. From the railway station take the number 786 bus from Albert Road bus stop to the Fire Station bus stop.
