About North West Regional College
North West Regional College is a leading provider of Further and Higher Education, and skills training. The College’s five main campuses in Strand Road, Springtown, Strabane, Limavady Main Street, and Limavady Greystone, boast modern and industry-standard learning environments, at which over 10,000 students achieve their personal educational goals, through full and part-time study every year.
NWRC has 4 academic faculties, each catering for school leavers, mature students, professionals, community organisations, and the unemployed. These are: Business, Media & Technology; Creative, Performing Arts & Therapies, Engineering, Construction & Sustainability; and Life & Healthcare Sciences.
The student population ranges from school leavers and mature students to professionals and jobseekers, who wish to improve their skills and qualifications. Students originate from all parts of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland - the majority live in local areas including neighbouring County Donegal.
Educational routes on offer include full-time Level 1, 2, 3 and Higher Education choices which blend modern classroom delivery with real-life work-based challenges. North West Regional College is destined to go from strength to strength and is well placed to make an invaluable contribution to the growth and development of the North West.
NWRC’s Business Support Centre provides a range of innovation and skills training programmes to support the requirements of companies across the region. The College makes a significant contribution to the economy both as an employer, a provider of education and training, and as a direct support to industry through skills mentoring and innovation.
