Access Guide
Introduction
- The service is located in the Harbour Ward of Berrywood Hospital.
- Harbour Ward provides an initial assessment of people who come into hospital. This can take from three days to a week. The doctors, nurses and other professionals develop a plan for your care which will often be in the community. If you need further treatment in hospital, you may be transferred to a recovery and treatment ward. At times this may be at short notice but staff involved in your care will keep you as informed as possibl.
Getting Help and Assistance
- Documents are available in an alternative format and can be provided to include: Braille on request, large print on request and different languages on request.
- Water bowls for assistance dogs are available on request.
- BSL interpreters can be provided on request.
- Language interpreters can be provided on request.
