Parking and Public Transport

- The venue has its own car park.
- The nearest train station is Hexham.
- There is a bus stop at the end of the driveway, on Pennine Way (Hexham-Bellingham 680).

Getting In and Around

- There is step-free access via ramp at the most accessible entrance.
- There is step-free level access throughout.
- The following facilities are available: mobility scooter charging facilities, bath mats, a seat/chair and shower chairs.
- The venue can provide large print documents.
Entrance
- This entrance is located at the front of the Lodge.
- There is step-free access via ramp at the entrance.
- The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide with a handrail on the left going up.
- There are 3 steps which are unmarked, with handrails on both sides.
- There is a key lock at a height of 100cm.
- There is a single manual door at this entrance.
- The door opens away from you.
- The width of the opening is 87cm.
Kitchen (with Dining Area)
- The kitchen is located to your left as you enter the lodge.
- There is step-free level access into the kitchen.
- Furniture can be moved to enable a manoeuvring space for a wheelchair user (150cm x 150cm).
- The kitchen has under counter cupboards.
- The work surface is 90cm from the floor.
- The hob is 90cm from the floor.
- The oven is at a suitable height for a wheelchair user.
- The sink is 90cm from the floor.
- The sink has a lever mixer tap.
- Facilities within the kitchen include a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster.
- The following machines are at a suitable height for a wheelchair user: dishwasher.
- Seating available in the kitchen includes: chairs without armrests.

Lounge
- The lounge is located ahead of you as you enter the lodge.
- There is step-free level access into the lounge.
- There is room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre (150cm x 150cm).
- Seating available in the lounge includes: chairs with armrests and sofas.
- Furniture available in the lounge includes: coffee tables.
- There is a TV with subtitles.
Standard Bedroom (Twin Room Left Side)
- The bedroom surveyed is located to your right and then left as you enter the lodge.
- The most accessible route to the bedroom has step-free level access.
- There is step-free level access into the bedroom.
- The door opens inwards.
- The width of the door opening is 91cm.
- The bedroom has twin beds.
- The top of the mattress is 50cm from the floor.
- The space under the bed is 35cm from the floor.
- The following is available in this bedroom: a desk, a chair without armrests and bedside plug sockets.
Standard Bedroom (Double)
- The bedroom surveyed is located to the far right as you enter the lodge.
- The most accessible route to the bedroom has step-free level access.
