Getting Here (MTIF Boots Enterprise Zone)

  • By Road View
    • MTIF Boots Enterprise Zone is located about 4 miles south-west of the city centre of Nottingham.
      The Boots Enterprise Zone postcode is NG90 2DB.
      The M1 passes close to the west of the city, the A42 / M42 link to the southwest of the city and the A1(M) to the east of the county.
      From the South: Exit the M1 at Junction 24 and follow the A453 towards the city. Merge on to the A52, then turn left on to Thane Road. At the roundabout take the third exit on to Main road. MTIF is on the left is on the left-hand side approximately seven miles from the motorway.
      From the A60 North: Leave the A60 at A6514 and follow the Ring Road for approximately eight miles. Take the A6005 exit then take the third exit at the roundabout on to Beeston Road A6005. After one mile turn left on to Queens Road, then left on to Beacon Road. At the roundabout take the second exit on to Main Road. MTIF is on your left.
      From the A60 South: Join the A52, then turn left on to Thane Road. At the roundabout take the third exit on to Main road. MTIF is on the left-hand side
      From the A52: Leave the A52 at A453, signposted M1 South. Continue straight over the roundabout with traffic lights and then turn right at the next set of traffic lights for Clifton Campus
    • Student parking is available at MTIF. There is a car park at the rear of the building, which has a security barrier, intercom and key card reader. There are two Blue Badge bays for Blue Badge holders available.
  • By Bus View
    • NTU and Nottingham City Transport operate the Go2 Uni 4 bus service (formerly known as Unilink) between the City site and Clifton Campus.

      A discounted pass is available to all NTU students as part of your Smartcard.
      Timetables can be found on the Nottingham City Transport website. Please note that this service is term-time only.
  • By Train View
    • Nottingham station is located approximately 4 miles from MTIF Boots Enterprise Zone, which can then be accessed by the number 18 bus.
      Nottingham station has step free access to the station.
      There are lifts to platforms from station front.
      Wheelchairs are available and there are portable ramps available to access trains.
  • By Tram View
    • The nearest Tram Stop to MTIF is Middle Street Tram Stop.
      It is approximately 0.7 miles (14 minutes) north west of the campus by foot, via Humber Road and is located on Middle Street in Beeston.
      There are several park and ride stops along the route with parking when visiting the University.
      The Park and Ride Phoenix Park site is close to Junction 26 of the M1, and the Forest Park and Ride site is near to the city centre.
      The trams network is fully accessible with fully accessible tram stop platforms, low floor access to trams, high colour contrast floor finishes, electronic signs and audible announcements, dedicated wheelchair spaces and Blue Badge parking at the park and ride sites on the tram network.
