- Cars may be parked on the grass outside the entrance gates, during the tour.

- There is stepped access at the most accessible entrance.
- The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: most of the garden tour has slopes of varying degrees.
- Access throughout may include uneven surfaces.
- There are no toilet facilities.

- Additional equipment which can be borrowed or hired includes: plastic outdoor chairs (available on request).
Entrance to the Kitchen Garden
- This access point is located at the far left hand side of the walled garden, although the tours start at the Farm Shop entrance.
- The approach to the access point has uneven surfaces.
- The access point is not clearly signed.
- There are double manual gates.
- The gates open away from you.
- There is stepped access via a wicket door in the gate on the right hand side, however, the gates can be opened on request.
- There is a 10cm high stone step at the gate threshold.
- The width of the opening is 200cm.
The Kitchen Garden
- The following is available in this area: formal gardens.
- Outdoor areas consist of grass, gravel and compact earth.
- There are footpaths in some areas.
- The majority of the paths are wide enough for wheelchair users.
- The following areas have step-free access via ramps or slopes: most of the garden tour has slopes of varying degrees.
- There are not any seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
- There are uneven surfaces throughout the tour, some of which may be muddy in wet weather conditions.
