About What does Disability Pride mean to you?
Disability Pride Month is an international campaign that takes place every July. It aims to bring people together and celebrate the disability community, so that we can all work together to build a more inclusive world.
Here at AccessAble, we see Disability Pride Month as the ideal opportunity to voice our authentic experiences as disabled people. Everybody has their own unique path and identity, and this movement empowers us to communicate our stories and reach new people.
Hear from our Ambassadors

"Everyone in this world is individual. We all feel differently about our disability… everyone, regardless of any individual characteristic, brings something to the table” - Ross
“For me, Disability Pride is all about the people I’ve met on my journey and the communities that I’ve joined and grown with” - Hester
Our AccessAble Ambassadors all have different lived experiences of disability. Watch the videos on this page to find out what Disability Pride means to them…
