Introduction

Exit the Building and Turn Left Before Heading Down the Ramp to Your Right

  • On exiting the Law Building, turn left and head up a slight slope (as shown in photograph 1).
  • At the top of the slope there is a 150cmX150cm turning space.
  • To the right of the slope there is an easy and permanent ramp with a width of 152cm. Head down the ramp to continue on your journey. The ramp can be seen in photograph 2.
  • Alternatively there are two medium steps as shown in photograph 3.

Continue on Until You Reach Westfield Way

  • Continue forward for approximately 38m.
  • The surface of the pavement is block paving.
  • There is a slight downhill gradient.
  • There is a small area of the road that is tarmac.
  • Keep going past the entrance to Arts 1.

Turn Right Along Westfield Way

  • Turn right and continue onwards until you reach Mile End Road (a distance of approximately 50m).
  • The path is covered in block paving and there is an easy gradient going uphill.
  • Continue going past the side entrance to Arts 1.
  • Go through the permanently held open entrance gate. The width of the gate is 222cm that leads out to Mile End Road.

Turn Left Along Mile End Road to the Regents Canal Bus Stop

  • Turn left and cross Westfield Way.
  • There are tactile drop kerbs on either side of the road. The road surface is tarmac and is not very busy.
  • After crossing Westfield Way the pavement is block paving with a slight downhill gradient.

Regents Canal Bus Stop E

  • The bus stop has covered seating.
  • You will need to cross the cycle path to access the bus stop. The path is raised to be level with the pavement.
  • It has tactile paving on either side.
  • The stop serves routes 25, 205, 339 and N205.

Kingsway Bus Station M

  • The bus stop has a shelter and seating.
  • The bus stop serves routes, 1, 59, 68, 91, 168, 171, 188, 243, 521, N1, N68 and N91.

Turn Right on Kingsway and head towards Remnant Street

  • Upon exiting the bus stop, turn right along Kingsway and continue until you reach Remnant Street.
  • The distance from the bus stop to Remnant Street is approximately 36m.
  • The surface of the pavement is block paving.
  • There is a section of tactile block paving for a pedestrian crossing across Kingsway. Which can be seen in photograph 2. Travel across it and continue to Remnant Street.

Turn Left along Remnant Street

  • Turn left along Remnant Street for approximately 38m.
  • There is a slight gradient going downhill and towards the road.
  • The pavement is made of block paving.
