Turn left on exiting Stepney Green Station to the Globe Road Crossing
- Turn left on exiting Stepney Green Station and continue for approximately 16m.
- The surface of the pavement is block paving.
- You will encounter some tactile paving which leads to a set of traffic lights cross over it and continue to the Globe Road Crossing.
- There is a slight uphill gradient.
Cross Globe Road
- There are tactile drop kerbs on either side and the surface of the road is tarmac.
Continue along Mile End Road to Mile End Place
- Continue along Mile End Road for approximately 135m to reach Mile End Place.
- The surface of the road is block paving with the occasional manhole cover.
- There is a slight gradient going uphill and another going down towards the road.
- There is a section of tactile paving that will need to be overcome.
Cross Mile End Place
- There are tactile drop kerbs on either side of the road.
- The surface of the road is tarmac.
Continue along Mile End Road
- Continue along Mile End Road for approximately 175m.
- The surface of the road is block paving and there's a very slight uphill gradient to the road.
- There is a small road leading into Mathematics Square with tactile paving on either side (as shown in photograph 2).
- The surface of the road is tarmac.
- Once you have crossed this road, continue on until you reach Bancroft Road.
- Between here and Bancroft Road there is some tactile paving leading towards a pedestrian crossing (as shown in photograph 4).
Cross Bancroft Road
- Cross Bancroft Road
- There is tactile paving on both sides of the road.
- The road is roughly level with the pavement and made of tarmac.
- There is a slight gradient going up to the middle of the road and down again on the other side.
Continue along Mile End Road to the Queens' Building
- Continue along Mile End Road for approximately 97m to reach the Queens' Building.
- The pavement is block paving with the occasional manhole cover.
- There is a slight gradient heading towards the road.
- The Queens Building is on your left.
Arrive at the Queens' Building
- When you get to the Queens' Building there is a service road with tactile drop kerbs on ether side.
- Turn left and head to the Queens' Building. The toad has a slight easy gradient.
- The step free access is located to the right of the building.
