- There are a number of bus stops located along Regent Street.
Bus routes 12, 22, 88, 94, 113, 139, 159 and 453 travel along Regent Street.
It is also served by night bus routes N3, N15, N18, N22, N109, N113 and N136.

- Bond Street Station is served by the Central Line and Jubilee Line Services.
Bond Street Station has step-free access.
The accessible step-free entrance (via lift) is located on Marylebone Lane, off the north side of Oxford Street.
The entrances to the south side of Oxford Street or within the West One Shopping Centre are accessed by steps or escalators only.
Green Park Station is served by the Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines.
Green Park Station has step-free access.
The accessible step-free entrance can be accessed via the park at the rear of the station building.
Oxford Circus Station is served by the Central, Bakerloo and Victoria Line services.
This station is accessed by steps only.

- Regent Street (A4201) connects with Langham Place, which leads to Marylebone Road (A501) at its north end.
At its south end, it connects with Piccadilly, which leads to Shaftsbury Avenue (A401) and Coventry Street (A4).
Regent Street (A4201) crosses the centre of Oxford Street at Oxford Circus.
Regent Street is in the Central London Congestion Charge Zone (charges apply Monday - Friday 07:00 -18:00).

- Parking in the area is very limited and visitors are encouraged to use public transport.
There is an underground car park available (Q-Park - Burlington Street) located on Old Burlington Street, west of Regent Street.
There are no Blue Badge bays available within this car park.
There are standard on-street pay-to-park bays in some of the side roads.

The nearest pier is Westminster.
This is close to Westminster Underground Station on the Jubilee Line which connects to Bond Street Station.

- The nearest airports to central London are London City Airport, London Gatwick and London Heathrow.
London City Airport is connected to the centre by the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Bank or Tower Gateway with interchanges to the rail and underground network at Canning Town and Stratford.
From Gatwick Airport there are fast trains connecting to London Bridge Station.

General Accessibility (Heddon Street)

Paths and Pavements

- Heddon Street is located between New Burlington Street and Vigo Street.
The street is pedestrianised, however loading only traffic is permitted between the hours of 03:00 - 11:00, 7 days a week.
There is no parking on Heddon Street.
The pavement surface consists of block paving with some flagstone paving at the north end of the street (photographs 1 - 12). - There are 2 points of access into the street, both from Regent Street (photographs 13 and 14).
The street is known for its high end restaurants and bars including the Ice Bar and Gordon Ramsey's Heddon Street Kitchen.
The street has a long, very slight downhill slope from north to south.
The majority of the businesses in this area have stepped access. - There is a road crossing on Regent Street over the south access point to Heddon Street (photograph 15).
The crossing is flush with the path and has no tactile paving.
The surface of the crossing is block paving and mostly even.
There are no visual or audible signals available at the crossing.
- Heddon Street is located between New Burlington Street and Vigo Street.

Street Furniture and Features

- There are bollards located at the north end of the street with a width of 105cm (photograph 16), and bollards located at the south end of the street with a width of 115cm (photograph 17).
The bollards cause the access into the street to narrow.
There are a number of menu boards located along the street that may be hard to detect for those with a visual impairment (photograph 18). - Many of the restaurants have external seating areas.
The seating is enclosed in most cases by large planters that have good contrasts with the pavement (photographs 19 and 20).
However, there are seating areas that are not enclosed and obstruct the street in places (photograph 21). - There is an ATM available at the south end of the street (photograph 22).
