Getting To (Acute Stroke Unit)
- The most accessible route from the West Drive - Redlands Road parking has step-free level access, uneven surfaces and a dropped kerb with tactile paving.

- Access to the Acute Stroke Unit is via the Level 1 Battle Block entrance.
- There is not a drop-off point at this entrance.

- The Acute Stroke Unit is located on Level 1 of the Battle Block.
- The Acute Stroke Unit is approximately 42m from the Level 1 Battle Block entrance.
- Enter via the Level 1 Battle Block entrance.
Turn right and continue along the Battle Block corridor until you reach the bend.
The Acute Stroke Unit is located on the right, just before the bend. - Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access and doors permanently held open.
- Some flooring along the route is shiny .
- There are resting areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- The following toilet facilities are available along the route; toilets for ambulant disabled users.

Parking (West Drive - Redlands Road)

Car Park

- The car park is located at the rear of the hospital building, off Redlands Road.
- The car park is open air/surface.
- The car park surface consists of tarmac.
- There are 4 designated Blue Badge parking bays available.
- The Blue Badge bays are clearly marked and signposted.

- If you wish to visit the ward outside of these times, please contact the nurse in charge. Only two visitors are allowed to a bed.
