COVID-19 Information

  • The information in this section was taken in December 2020.
  • There are external queuing points.
  • The external queuing points are clearly marked/signed.
  • External areas directly outside entrances are marked with 'Keep 2 metres apart'.
  • There are separate doors for entering and exiting.
  • Where possible, separate entrance and exits are used.
    However, in order to implement the triage of all guests/staff/visitors to corporate buildings, access has been limited to one door only with a security guard in attendance to carry out said triage.
    Where main vestibules converge onto one main door, one way arrows denote 'in' and 'out' on the floor.
  • There is a member of staff available at the entrance.
  • All public buildings have a member of staff as a 'meet and greet'.
    Corporate buildings GH is manned at reception where any visitor/guest needs to sanitise hands, wear a face covering, or sign in for track and trace, and must be collected by a named member of council staff.
  • There is hand sanitiser available at the entrance.
  • The hand sanitisers are free standing.
  • Hand sanitisers are available inside the venue.
  • All self standing sanitising units throughout buildings are placed at waist height or equivalent on entrances to departments and are accessible to wheelchair users.
    Sanitisers are placed at main reception areas where applicable, and at entrances to departments and exits from within departments in corporate and public buildings.

    Where stairways and corridors are wide enough to allow clear passage of 2 metres, arrows are placed in each direction respectively.
