Peascod Street runs west from the Queen Victoria Statue, then turns south towards Victoria Street. Peascod Street is pedestrianised throughout.
  • Several public car parks are available close to Peascod Street, including Windsor Yard Multi-Storey Car Park, and Victoria Street Multi-Storey Car Park.
  • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the venue.
  • There are bus stops close to both ends of Peascod Street, with direct services available to Slough, Heathrow, Victoria, Maidenhead, Dedworth and Ascot.

  • Windsor & Eton Central is located in the Royal Windsor Station shopping area off Thames Street. There is step-free access to all platforms at this station. Junction with Castle Hill, High Street and Thames Street to Junction with Goswell Hill

  • There is a steep downhill slope from the top of Peascod Street.
  • There are some uneven areas on the pathways throughout this section.

Junction with Goswell Hill to Junction with Bridgewater Way

  • There is a steep downhill slope, turning into a slight downhill slope as the road passes Bridgewater Way.

  • There are sometimes market stalls set up in this area of Peascod Street.
  • There is a walkway to the left, Peascod Place, leading to Bachelors Acre park (0.15 miles away, or a 3 minute walk).

Junction with Bridgewater Way to Junction with Oxford Road

  • The distance from the junction with Bridgewater Way to Oxford Road is approximately 100m.
  • The surface is paving slabs and brick.
  • Over this section of Peascod Street there is a slight downhill slope, which turns into a slight uphill slope.
  • Obstructions on the pavement include chairs and tables outside shops, bins, and street furniture.
  • On the right there is a junction with Bridgewater Way (photographs 1, 2, 3 and 4).
  • Bridgewater Way is a broad, pedestrianised street leading to the Windsor Yards Shopping Centre and Car Park.
  • Bridgewater Way has a steep uphill slope.
  • There are bollards at the entrance to Bridgewater Way (photograph 2).
  • Bollard height is 108cm.
  • Bollards have good visual contract with the ground.
  • The Post Office is opposite the junction with Bridgewater Way (photograph 5).
  • Further on, William Street intersects with Peascod Street on the left (photographs 6 and 7).
  • William Street is not pedestrianised.
  • Peascod Street continues to the junction with Oxford Road.

Junction with Oxford Road to Junction with Victoria Street/Clarence Road

  • The distance from the junction with Oxford Road to Victoria Street/Clarence Road is approximately 95m.
  • The surface is paving slabs and brick.
  • There is a slight uphill slope in this final section of Peascod Street.
  • Obstructions on the pavement include bins, tables and chairs outside shops, street furniture, and A-frame placards outside shops.
  • Oxford Road intersects with Peascod Street on the right (photograph 1).
  • Oxford Road is not pedestrianised.
  • At the near end of Oxford Road, there is a crossing with tactile paving on each side (photograph 3).
  • The crossing is not marked or signed.
  • After this junction, Peascod Street turns to the left, heading south towards Victoria Street and Clarence Road.
