Getting To The Hospital

  • By Road View
    • The postcode to use to get to Harefield Hospital for the SAT-Nav is UB9 6JH. Harefield Hospital is accessed from Hill End Road via Rickmansworth Road to the North and Park Lane/High Street/Breakspear Road North Roundabout from the South.
    • There is substantial parking at Harefield Hospital. Harefield's car parks are managed, and a pay and display system operates for both patients and visitors. There are 13 blue badge parking bays which are free of charge.
  • By Bus View
    • Harefield is served by the following buses from Uxbridge tube station. U9: Uxbridge Station - Harefield West (Belfry Avenue), every 20 minutes, Monday - Saturday, hourly on Sundays. 331: Uxbridge Station - Northwood - Ruislip. (This service is to the 'Kings Arms', Harefield, which is approximately two minutes’ walk from the main hospital entrance.) The 331 bus is available from Northwood Station. R21: Mount Vernon Hospital - Harefield - Rickmansworth - Maple Cross - Denham – Uxbridge (This is an occasional service only.).
    • There is an onsite bus stop.
    • The bus stop is located approximately 40 Metres from the first entrance into the hospital, turning left off of Hill End Road.
    • The bus stop is sheltered and has benched seating. There is no space under the shelter for a wheelchair user.
    • The route from the bus stop to the main entrance is approximately 130 Metres. There is a pedestrian crossing that has tactile paving on both sides. The majority of the route is fairly level with only a few slopes/ramps on the way to the main entrance.
  • By Train View
    • The nearest train station is Denham station. The station is 2.7 miles from hospital. This station is served by Chiltern Railways.
  • By Underground View
    • The nearest underground stations are Northwood, Rickmansworth and Uxbridge. None of these stations are within walking distance of the hospital, but they are accessible by car or taxi in about 20 minutes. Buses also run to the hospital from Uxbridge station. The 331 bus is available from Northwood Station.

Reach the top of the slope and the Intensive Therapy Unit entrance will be in front of you.
