- The route explains access to the Studio Building via the Route 170 Bus from Victoria Station to the Battersea Campus.
The 170 bus from Victoria Station leaves from Victoria Station Bus Stop G.
The nearest bus stop to the Studio Building on the 170 route is the Battersea Bridge / Hester Road stop which is approximately 0.2 miles or 185m from the Studio Building Howie Street entrance

Victoria Railway Station to Victoria Railway Station Bus Stop C
- Upon exiting Victoria station via the Terminal Place exit head towards the bus terminal crossings and cross to the far side of Terminal Place.
- The surface of the pavement is block paving.
- There are bollards to access the first crossing.
- There are three set of crossings across Terminal Place these all have Tactile dropped kerbs on either side.
- Upon reaching the other side of Terminal Free head towards Wilton Road and follow the road to Victoria Street.
- Upon reaching Victoria Street turn left and head to stop G.
170 Bus
- There is approximately a 17 minute journey between Victoria Station Stop G and Battersea Bridge / Hester Road (Stop BD).
- Victoria Station Stop G has a cloistered cover and seating available.
- Battersea Bridge / Hester Road (Stop BD) has a cloistered cover and seating available.
Battersea Bridge / Hester Road (Stop BD) to Howie Street
- On exiting the bus head south east for approximately 110m.
- After approximately 20m you will reach Hester Road.
- Hester Road has a brick block paved crossing level with the pavement with tactile paving on either side.
- After crossing Hester Road continue along the brick block paved pavement.
- Enroute there is a service road.
- On approach to Howie Street there is a tactile dropped kerb, bypass this and after approximately 10m you will reach Howie Street.
Howie Street to Studio Building Passageway Entrance
- Turn left down Howie street for approximately 45m.
- The Howie Street pavement consists of various surfaces including concrete, tarmac and block paving.
- There are drive ways with dropped kerbs enroute.
- After approximately 45m, there is a brick block paved service road leading to the security reception and the Woo Building / Dyson Building Entrance.
- Use the dropped kerb of the service road to cross Howie street.
- Directly opposite is a ramp leading from Howie Street into the passageway.
