Car Park 12 to Pathway

  • There are drop kerbs to exit the car park followed by a small section of tactile paving with a drop kerb on one side.
  • There is then a faded zebra crossing which is no longer clearly marked and can be seen in photograph 2.
  • The zebra crossing is more clearly visible when approached from the opposite direction as can be seen in photograph 3.
  • On the far side of the road there is a tactile drop kerb. This can be seen in photograph 4.
  • Turn left and continue for approximately 30m. The surface of the pavement is block paving. There is a shelter for a bus stop along the path. This can be seen in photograph 5.
  • There is a drop kerb in front of the shelter which can be seen in photograph 6.
  • Beyond which there are bins with a width of 114cm which can be seen in photograph 7.
  • There is a drop kerb with a section of tactile paving which you need to bypass. This can be seen in photograph 8.

Pathway to Campus Main Entrance Road

  • Head down the path to your front right and continue for 60m. The path has a block paved surface and a slight downhill gradient. The path can be seen in photographs 1, 2 and 3.
  • After 60m turn left for approximately 20m until you reach the campus entrance road. This can be seen in photograph 4.

Campus Main Entrance Road to Founder's North

  • The crossing has tactile drop kerbs on either side of a 20m of concrete road. These can be seen in photograph 1, 2 and 3.
  • Continue along the path in front of you for 35m which has a block paved covering. These can be seen in photograph 4 and 5.
  • After 35m turn right and cross at the crossing which has tactile block paving on either side of the road. These can be seen in photographs 6, 7, 8 and 9.

Founder's North to Founder's Square

  • Turn left for 10m along the block paved pavement. This can be seen in photograph 1.
  • Turn right and head down the slope to your right. To do so head through bollards with a width of 145cm. These can be seen in photograph 2.
  • Head down the slight slope with a distance of 60m. This can be seen in photographs 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Founders Square

  • The Founders Square is an open events space located between the Emily Wilding Davison Building and the Founders Building.
  • This area is accessed via steps or ramps from the Emily Wilding Davison Building, by ramped access from the north of the campus and stepped access only from the south.
  • This area has a level and even stone slab surface.
  • This area contains a wide open space lined with bench seating on three sides (as shown in photographs 5 and 6) and by a tiered stone bench seating array on the north side of the square. This tiered seating is access via 15+, medium height steps with handrails on the left only.
