Getting To (Drapers Ward)
- The most accessible route from the main entrance Blue Badge bays has step-free level access and uneven surfaces.
- Access to the Drapers Ward is via the main entrance.
- There is not a drop-off point at this entrance.
- The Drapers Ward is located on the ground floor of the Drapers Wing.
- The Drapers Ward is approximately 100m from the main entrance.
- From the main entrance, take the corridor to the left of the reception desk.
Turn right onto the main hospital corridor.
Follow this corridor to the end and turn right.
Follow this corridor through Alexandra Wing and at the end turn left.
The entrance to the Drapers Ward is ahead. - Internally the most accessible route has step-free level access and doors permanently held open.
- Some flooring along the route is shiny and patterned.
- There are resting areas along the route.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Signage is clearly visible with high contrasting colours.
- The following toilet facilities are available along the route; a toilet with adaptations (with left hand transfer) and standard toilets.
