- For a walk amongst trees and along the banks of the River Aire, venture onto this trail. You will need good footwear all year round. In wet winter months, it’s a welly boot walk.

- Paths or trails have some sections with potential obstacles such as: uneven surfaces, gates, narrow gaps, overgrowing vegetation, muddy surfaces and obstructions.
- There are some seats situated along the paths for people to rest.
- There is not step-free level access throughout.
- The following areas have step-free access via slopes: some areas on the trail.
- For stunning landscapes and panoramic views of St Aidan’s and surrounding areas, take a hike onto the hillside. This trail goes through some steep hills and inclines, which wind through the trees and grassland.
- This trail is not suitable for visitors in wheelchairs in poor weather.

- To explore the magic of the whispering reedbeds, take a walk on this mostly flat route that runs around the edges of the reedbeds and loops back to the main entrance.

- There is step-free access via ramp to this area.
- The ramp has a slight gradient.
- The ramp is between 75cm and 150cm wide.
- There are handrails on both sides, which are within reach.
