Access Point (Battlefield Heritage Car Park)
- This access point is located at the rear of the car park.
- The approach to the access point has uneven surfaces.
- The access point is not clearly signed.
- There is step-free access via slope.
- The slope has a slight gradient.
- There is an open gap.
- The width of the opening is 109cm.
Family Friendly Walks - Bloody Battlefield
- This walk is approximately 2.4km long, taking around 1 hour.
- The route is circular and runs in a clockwise direction.
- There is limited signage to indicate the route.
- The width of the pathways varies from 120cm to a minimum of 45cm; some of the pathways are obstructed by vegetation.
- Kissing gates are located at multiple points along the walk.
- The surface of the pathways is compacted earth, some with fine loose chippings on top and grass.
- After the kissing gate leading to the church, there is a bridge over the fishponds with a timber decking surface that is uneven in places.
- Bench seating is located at regular intervals along the walk.
- There may be roots and stones located on the paths.
- Due to kissing gates, the most accessible route to St Mary Magdalene's Church is via the church car park.
